Career is not about the best College we choose, it's about the best professional you can transform on the course..
Modern day youngsters are definitely concerned about their career
and future, off-course every individual is for a healthy survival. But there is
a wrong perception among many students that choosing the right college alone
matters. The actual fact is all the individuals in high profile colleges don't
reach the sky and all the students choosing Low Profile College don't fail
either.
Career is the individual desire where you have to identify the
right job matching your potential. The job is not done once you decide and get
in to the good College alone. Because what we read in the books is not the
same, when you enter the organization and start to work. The individual has to
do a lot of effort and preparation which can happen only due to gradual and
tireless practice consistently.
For example Marketing and sales is a simple concept, when you read
in books and to Score 99 % easily in the College. But when you enter the
organization the percentage doesn't matter and not even a single customer would
respect your 99%. The only thing that matters is the ability to convince and
handle the target pressure. The School of books would have never taught you
that but you have to adapt fast to survive in the intense competition.
Company chooses right individuals not Colleges. For example
recruiter will never hire a student with a first class degree from Washington
University as a sales Manager in a rural Indian village. That's where even an
average student from a rural Indian college cannot be underestimated. At least
he understands the culture and language of that location and a better fit
rather than a first class pass-out from Washington University. The problem
arises as we fail to realize what we fit in to and when students start to
compare each other without realizing their unique potential.
Career is all about an individual, so getting
rejected in the interview doesn't mean you don't fit in to the job. It's due to
the fact the students fail to analyze what they fit into and couldn't upgrade
themselves to the Industry expectations due to lack of effort and commitment
before stepping in to the interview. That's why career is not about the best
College you choose, it's the best you can bring out of yourself, when you come
out of the College. The company's would never ignore you if you are worth
enough, so make yourself demanding for the World around you, so that
companies will look at you like an employee worth for million dollar.
